Lorca Hart ( America)
Lorca Hart studied at California Institute of the Arts under
Tootie Heath and Joe La Barbera.
He graduated in 1996 with a BFA in Jazz Percussion Performance.
Since then he has kept up a busy performance schedule,
working with many artists on the Los Angeles scene.
Lorca has performed with ( among many others) Justo Almario,
Bobby Rodriguez, Jeff Clayton, the Clayton Brothers,
Anthony Wilson, Ronald Muldrow, Dave Pike, Gerald Wiggins,
Phil Ranelin, Oscar Brown jr., Freddie Hubbard, Plas Johnson,
Red Holloway, Ralph Moore, Herman Riley, Scottie Barnhart,
John Beasley, Don Menza, John Heard, and the Cross Hart Jazz
Experience ( the group that he co-leads with bassist Ryan Cross ).
